BOE shipped 24.52 million units in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 24%. As the leading manufacturer of panel supply, in addition to aggressive product specification upgrades, more displays were allocated in the second quarter, and the supply increase in the third quarter will continue. In the first half of the year, the market share reached 31% after the acquisition of Panda, an increase of 5% from the previous month. The internal supply is led by 23.8 inches and 27 inches, ranking first in the market shipments of their corresponding sizes. The shipment situation in the first half of the year was in line with its annual plan, with a significant increase in sizes of 27 inches and above.

LG Display (LGD) shipped 18.38 million pieces, a year-on-year increase of 19%. The market share reached 23%, an increase of 3% from the previous month. Affected by the shortage of raw materials in the second quarter, shipments have narrowed. The supply is expected to increase gradually in the third quarter. The size structure layout is rich, and it plays a leading role in the high-score and ultra-widescreen markets.

AUO (AUO) shipped 14.3 million pieces in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 26%. AUO’s new capacity plan has increased steadily, and its market share has reached 18%, an increase of 2% month-on-month. For low-generation line production capacity, the strategy of adopting more allocation to other applications, display growth was slightly weak. The size layout is mostly small. The year-round planning is more active for the large size 31.5 inches and 34 inches.

TCL China Star (CSOT) shipped about 5.48 million pieces, a year-on-year increase of more than doubled. The annual production capacity of 8.5-generation line monitors is planned to increase gradually, limited by supply, and the speed of increase is not as expected. Huike (HKC) shipped 4.38 million units, a significant increase from last year when it joined the initial supply of display panels. The production capacity of the 8.6-generation line is planned to expand steadily throughout the year. Thanks to the active expansion, the market share in the first half of the year reached 5%. The current size layout is relatively simple, and there are incremental plans for e-sports and widescreen in the second half of the year. With the gradual implementation of the plan, it will also occupy a place in the market segment.

CEC-Panda shipped 2.18 million pieces in the first half of the year. The current 6-generation line is mainly supplying 21.5 inches. In the third quarter, its production capacity continued to tilt toward displays, and it accounted for 3% of the market share in the first half of the year.

Samsung Display (SDC) shipped 1.2 million pieces in the first half of the year, and the supply is nearing completion. Other panel manufacturers actively fill the market vacancies they bring.

In the second half of the year, due to the weakening of TV demand, the production capacity strategy of panel manufacturers is inclined to IT products. For example, BOE, TCL China Star (CSOT), CEC-Panda, etc. have increased the allocation of display capacity According to the plan, the expansion of HKC, a late-coming panel factory, will continue in the second half of the year. In addition, Taiwan's production capacity is also increasing steadily, and the supply of materials is eased. The backlog of semi-finished products in each panel factory is expected to be released. Panel shipments in the second half of the year will increase in growth. It is expected that shipments in the third quarter will reach 43.43 million units and more than 45 million units in the fourth quarter. Shipments in the second half of the year will increase by 1.9% year-on-year and 12.1% month-on-month.
